BirdieEVO electric/electric passenger lift

BirdieEVO has been designed to offer new choices based on new technologies. BirdieEVO provides the user with maximum comfort and safety when lifting and transferring from bed, chair and floor. The new lift has been developed following market feedback and based on the already well-known Birdie. We have maintained what was appreciated about Birdie while adding new features to improve the experience for both users and caregivers.

Impressive lifting ranges

The BirdieEVO performs an ergonomic lift and the bracket can easily rotate 360°, making it easier for the caregiver to position correctly and reducing user anxiety.

Maximized area

The high lift arm provides plenty of space, even when the lift is in its highest position, and the optimized space in front of the engine reduces the risk of the users knees catching.

Easy to handle, transport and store

The BirdieEVO can be easily folded and reassembled without the need for tools. The lift takes up minimal storage space and is easy to move and transport. If necessary, the lifting arm can be easily removed from the chassis (no tools required).

The BirdieEVO COMPACT weighs as little as 31 kg, making it even easier to transport and store.

New innovative features

SMARTLOCK®: Change the sling bar more safely and easily than before with our new quick release. No tools are needed. A new quick connector makes it easy and safe to change the sling bar without tools. Increased safety is offered by the quick coupling which is further secured by a locking pin to ensure that the parts stay in place.

SlowR®: Integrated damper reduces rocking. A damper has been designed and integrated into the lifting arm to reduce swaying, provide a more comfortable experience for the user and increase caregiver control during lifting and transfers.

Designed hook: Attach the sling securely with one hand thanks to a new user. A new ergonomically designed hook makes it possible to attach the harness loop with just one hand. A wider hook makes it easier to thread the loop while the top of the hook has been designed to prevent the loops from accidentally coming off the hook, reducing the risk of injury.

Ergonomic driving handle makes handling and maneuvering even easier.

Distinctive rounded design of the lifting arm and sling bar allows for maintaining eye contact with the user throughout the transfer.

The ergonomic design with rounded legs gives an enveloping feeling and the lift can easily be placed around e.g. a comfort or electric wheelchair.
